A Special Note for our Parents
Dear Parents,
I'm thrilled to present our innovative HERO Badge Program, crafted meticulously to nurture Heart, Empathy, Resilience, and Optimism in young minds. Through this initiative, we aim to inspire our students with these pivotal virtues, guiding them towards being the heroes of their own narratives.
In our dynamic world, often overshadowed by trials and restrictive beliefs, cultivating the HERO mindset in your young one holds transformative power. When they adopt and internalize Heart, Empathy, Resilience, and Optimism, they not only enhance their personal journey but are better positioned to enrich the lives of those they encounter.
This program offers a range of age-tailored challenges, facilitating the holistic embrace and propagation of the HERO values:
-
Foundation & Perspective: At this juncture, students acquaint themselves with the essence of HERO, grasping the strength of a "Yes, I Can" attitude.
-
Self-Strengthening: Here, they actively integrate the HERO values in their day-to-day, becoming vigilant of potential mental pitfalls and learning to rise above them.
-
Unified Bravery: The concluding phase emboldens them to channel their HERO strengths for the betterment of others, cultivating a collective spirit of perseverance and bravery.
Each week, challenges such as the "Heart in Action Challenge" and the "Empathy Builder Challenge" will guide them towards self-discovery, embracing adversities, and being a beacon of positivity in their community.
Supporting your child in this transformative quest can be as simple as:
-
Engaging in Conversations: Discuss their HERO experiences. Relate with personal anecdotes that echo the lessons they're uncovering. This enriches their learning and fortifies your connection.
-
Exemplifying HERO Traits: Actions often speak louder than words. Exhibit the tenets of Heart, Empathy, Resilience, and Optimism. Engage in challenges alongside them, showcasing the art of morphing hurdles into stepping stones.
-
Facilitating Reflections: Each task comes with a reflective or recording aspect. Your child might appreciate assistance in structuring their reflections or fulfilling the documentation for submissions.
Concluding their series of challenges, a dedicated badge presentation event will commend their dedication, enlightenment, and progression. All badge contributions should be turned in by month's end, with badge presentations slated for the beginning of the next month.
Your collaboration in this initiative is invaluable. Together, we can infuse the HERO spirit within our students, enabling them to lead passionately, empathize genuinely, navigate challenges with fortitude, and maintain hope amidst adversity.
Warmly,
Coach Robert

HEART IN ACTION
OBJECTIVE
LOVE 0.0: LOVING YOURSELF
To experience love in three distinct ways: for oneself (Love 0.0), within our families (Love 1.0), and in the community (Love 2.0), inspired by Barbara Fredrickson's Love 2.0.
Create a "Heart in Action: Self-Care and Heart Chart" with your child. This will be their guide throughout the week. On Day 1 discuss and commit to at least 2 self-care activities that fall under Love 0.0 and record them on your Heart Chart. These can include:
-
Brushing teeth in the morning and evening.
-
Washing their body and hair during bath time.
-
Spending quiet, non-digital time alone, perhaps reading, puzzles, or playing.
-
Cleaning and maintaining an organized room.
-
Saying positive affirmations about themselves.
-
Participate in a physical activity
-
Partake in an art activity to prompt creative expression
-
Preparing a yummy and healthy meal
-
Participate in a mindfulness activity
With your child, choose two or more self-care activities from the list to commit to for the week. Make sure these are things they don't already do regularly. Record the chosen activities on their "Heart in Action: Self-Care and Heart Chart.
7 DAYS OF SELF-CARE CHALLENGE
Over the next seven days, have your child perform the self-care activities they committed to. Parents can help their children record these activities on the chart daily (keep the daily chart in a high traffic area in your home).
Encourage your child to reflect on how each activity made them feel. Did they experience a sense of self-love, care or peace?
At the end of the week, review the chart and experiences with your child. Discuss what they learned about self-love and self-care. Reflection can also be recorded on their Heart Chart.
LOVE 1.0: LOVING YOUR FAMILY
Set Family Connection Goals
Let's focus on nurturing love within our families. In our family is where we can experience Love 1.0, the love we feel for the people closest to us. Play with someone who doesn't have a playmate
-
Reading buddy - pair up with a younger student and read to them
-
Paint Kindness Rocks with positive messages and place them around your community
Choose at least two of these activities to commit to for the week. These activities should involve reaching out to others beyond your family. Record the chosen community activities on the "Heart in Action: Self-Care and Heart Chart."
7 DAY LOVE YOUR COMMUNITY CHALLENGE

Have your children (with your help, if required) reflect on the three types of love they experienced during the week and how it made them feel and the impact it had on others and record this reflection on their Heart Chart (add additional pages if required) Form below.
WEEK 2
EMPATHY IN ACTION
OBJECTIVE
To develop empathy and a sense of responsibility towards others, with inspiration from Vice Admiral James Stockdale's wisdom.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Do you know that the word hero actually means protector? In ancient Greek, the word “hērōs” meant PROTECTOR. It does not mean "tough guy" or "killer of bad guys," but PROTECTOR. And guess what? A hero's secret weapon is love. That's right! Heroes protect others by showing love and kindness. When we care for each other, we make the world a better and happier place. So, by doing these activities, you're becoming a real-life hero with a superpower called love. Isn't that amazing?
DAY 1
Begin the week by discussing the profound concept of "You Are Your Brother's/Sister's Keeper" with your child. Emphasize that being a hero isn't just about physical strength or courage, but also about compassion and empathy for others.
What You Will Do:
Share an Example: Tell your child a real-life story or download our document below to share what it means to be your brother's/sister's keeper.
Discuss the key idea: "The question is NOT 'What's in it for me?' The question is 'How can I help?'"
7 DAY KEEPER CHALLENGE
Each day of the week, focus on demonstrating empathy and taking actions that reflect the principle of "You Are Your Brother's/Sister's Keeper."
What You Will Do:
-
Participate in one Empathy in Action activity each day (see options below).
-
Reflect on your experience after each activity.
-
Write a summary reflection on the entire week's experience to be handed in for credit.
Parents: We encourage you to support and help your child prepare for these activities. And we even encourage you to join them.
Daily Challenge Actions (Choose Two or More Activities for the week):
-
Help a Family Member: Encourage your child to identify a way they can help a family member today. It could be assisting with a chore, offering to play with a sibling, or simply listening to a family member who needs to talk.
-
Acts of Kindness: Discuss the importance of showing kindness to friends and classmates. Challenge your child to perform an act of kindness at school, such as helping a classmate with their work or sharing something with a friend.
-
Community Connection: Explore how they can contribute to their community. This could involve volunteering with a local charity, helping a neighbor, or participating in a community clean-up.
-
Compassionate Listening: Teach your child the value of compassionate listening. Have them practice listening without judgment when a friend or family member needs to talk about their feelings. Then ask them to call someone on the phone to use their listening skill.
-
Support a Cause: Discuss important causes or charities, and let your child choose one to support. This could involve donating toys or clothes to a charity, participating in a fundraising event, or spreading awareness about the cause.
-
Walk in Someone Else's Shoes: Explain how to step into the shoes of someone less fortunate. This could be anything from bringing them a meal or care package and saying hello to volunteering at a homeless shelter. Immersing yourself in the lives and experiences of others is a great way to increase your empathy.
-
Connect with Social Action Movements: Empathy doesn’t have to be just an individualistic concept. It can extend to large groups of people and exist on a global or community-wide plane. Research an advocacy groups or charity efforts and find out ways you can help the cause.
DEBRIEF
At the end of the week, gather with your child to discuss their experiences. Reflect on the Following Questions:
-
How did it feel to help others this week?
-
Did you notice any positive changes in your relationships with family, friends, or the community?
-
How can you continue to be your brother's and sister's keeper in the future?
Emphasize that empathy is a superpower that can make a tremendous difference in the world. By cultivating empathy, your child can become a true hero in their everyday life, just as Vice Admiral James Stockdale suggests.
Encourage them to carry this valuable lesson forward, always remembering that the question is not "What's in it for me?" but "How can I help?" You are your brother's and sister's keeper.
WEEK 3
RESILIENCY IN ACTION
OBJECTIVE
To instil the concept of resilience by observing resilience in the world. Choose and complete at least two of the small projects below.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Through a blend of nature exploration, artistic expression, research, and self-reflective challenges, we aim to inspire growth, self-awareness, and a deeper understanding of one's inner strength. Embracing these tasks will not only provide tangible reminders of your innate resilience but also equip you with tools and insights to navigate life's challenges with confidence and poise. Participate and discover the boundless potential within you!
NATURE'S RESILIENCY
Objective: Discover how nature can teach us about resilience and to encourage creativity and self-expression while exploring the theme of resilience..
Task:
-
Go outside and find a tree or plant that has faced challenges, grew despite them, and is still standing strong.
-
Sit quietly next to it and think about how it endured tough times, like winds, storms or harsh weather.
-
Trees that never face the adversity of wind tend to grow weaker and are less resilient. Thinking about this, how might facing challenges in your own life help you become stronger? What message does this give you about the importance of adversity?
-
Next, create artwork that represents your interpretation of resilience in nature. This could include drawing a tree weathering a storm, a flower pushing through concrete, or any other imaginative representation.
-
Once the artwork is complete, explain the story behind your creation and how it relates to resilience. Let your artwork tell a story of how challenges, like the tree, can shape us and make us stronger.
-
Display your artwork around the house or in a makeshift gallery, allowing you to share your resilience-themed art with others.
COLLAGE WITH A TWIST
Objective: Create a visual representation of the inner and outer factors that contribute to your resilience and well-being using a life-sized collage.
Materials Needed:
Magazines, newspapers, or pictures printed from the internet.
Poster board (at least the size of the participant to create a life-sized silhouette).
Scissors.
Glue or tape.
Markers or crayons.
Instructions:
-
Preparation: Gather all materials and set up a comfortable workspace.
-
Create Your Silhouette: On the poster board, trace a life-sized silhouette of yourself or have someone assist you. Cut out the silhouette carefully.
-
Brainstorm & Gather Materials:
-
For the Head: Look for quotes, images, or words that represent positive and resilient thoughts. Think of optimistic and determined sentiments that inspire you.
-
For the Heart: Find pictures or words that depict feelings beneficial to you — emotions like love, courage, and passion (see the Energy in Motion file).
-
For the Belly: Seek out images of foods that are nourishing and act as great fuel for your body. Consider fruits, vegetables, proteins, and grains.
-
For the Arms and Legs: Discover pictures of exercises or activities that keep you active and strong. This could be kicking, punching, running, swimming, dancing, push ups, sit ups, stretching, or any other form of movement.
-
For the Spirit (centered around the heart or entire body): Search for symbols, images, or phrases that resonate with your core beliefs, values, passions, and purpose. This might include symbols of faith, depictions of nature, or any image that connects with your inner self.
4. Assembly: Glue the images and quotes onto the corresponding areas of your silhouette. Make sure the head section is filled with your resilient thoughts, the heart with feelings, the belly with nourishing foods, and the arms and legs with physical activities.
As you place each image or quote, take a moment to reflect on its significance in your life. How does it contribute to your resilience and overall well-being?
5. Additional Elements: Alongside the images, use markers or crayons to add elements that represent optimal sleep (perhaps little Z's near the eyes or a cloud indicating dreamy sleep) and the quality of your thoughts (using symbols like light bulbs for ideas, or sunshine for positivity).
6. Reflection: Once your collage is complete, take a step back and look at the whole picture. What do you see? How do the different elements come together to represent resilience in your life?
7. Display: Hang your completed collage in your room or a place you frequent. Let it serve as a daily reminder of the many factors, both internal and external, that contribute to your resilience, strength, and well-being.
8. Reflection:What did you learn about yourself while creating this collage? How can you apply this knowledge to daily life to boost your resilience and well-being? Are there any areas you feel you'd like to strengthen or improve upon after this activity?
CREATING AN ANTI-FRAGILE FLAME
Objective: Welcome to this empowering journey where you'll learn to transform challenges into opportunities by creating your very own "Anti-fragile Flame."
Materials Needed:
-
Two glass jars or containers with lids
-
Coloured construction paper or tissue paper
-
Markers or crayons
-
Scissors
-
Glue
-
Small tea light candles (already placed in the "Burn Jar")
-
NOTE: Adult supervision is required for lighting the candle to ensure safety.
Task:
-
Introduction: Understand the concept of anti-fragility. This means that challenges, rather than breaking you, make you stronger. View them as opportunities for growth. The same way a candle can be easily extinguished with your breath (fragile) a wild fire uses the wind and anything in it's path for fuel (anti-fragile)
-
Anti-fragile Jar Creation: Decorate one of your glass jars using coloured paper (you can also paint your jar), markers, or other craft materials. This will become your "Anti-fragile Jar."
-
Next, Create an Opportunity Jar: Decorate your second jar. This is your "Opportunity Jar" how you will use what has or is happening as fuel to move your forward and make you stronger.
-
Challenge Identification: On a piece of paper, write down a challenge you're either currently facing or have faced in the past. This symbolizes the obstacle you're aiming to transform.
-
Place and Visualize: Carefully fold this paper and place it inside the "Anti-fragile Jar." As you the paper in the jar, visualize this challenge.
-
Lighting the Flame (with adult supervision): Light the tea candle inside the "Anti-fragile Jar." As the flame dances, focus on letting go of the negative energy surrounding your challenge.
-
Reflect and Grow: As the paper burns, contemplate the potential opportunities stemming from this challenge. How can this obstacle pave the way for growth, understanding, or strength?
-
Conclude and Safeguard: Once the paper has burned completely, with adult supervision, safely extinguish the candle and seal the "Anti-fragile Jar."
-
Transformation: Reflect on your initial challenge. Ponder how it can evolve into an opportunity. Write down these transformative ideas and place them in the "Opportunity Jar," visualizing them taking shape. You can use these 3 questions as your guide, "What happened?" "What did I want to happen?" "What can I do?"
-
Final Reflection: Conclude by appreciating the transformation you've kickstarted. The "Anti-fragile Jar" signifies absorbing obstacles, while the "Opportunity Jar" embodies your capacity to convert challenges into routes for growth.
-
Keep the Cycle Going: Whenever new challenges arise, revisit this ritual. Let your "Anti-fragile Flame" guide you, remembering: OMMs (Obstacles Make Me Stronger). Believe in your innate ability to metamorphose obstacles into pathways of growth.
By repeatedly engaging in this activity, you'll solidify the idea that challenges, when approached with the right mindset, become avenues for personal growth and strength. Keep your "Antifragile Flame" alight and embrace the empowerment of overcoming hurdles by turning obstacles into opportunities.
RESILIENCY ROLE MODELS
Objective: Discover and celebrate the inspiring stories of real-life resilient individuals, and draw from their experiences to enhance your own resilience.
Materials Needed:
Books, internet, or other resources for research
Paper and pen/pencil
Optional: Art supplies for visual representation (coloUred pencils, markers, poster board)
Task:
-
Choose Your Resilient Role Model: Begin by selecting a real individual whose resilience story resonates with you. This could be a historical figure, an athlete, a scientist, or any other personality you admire.
-
Embark on a Research Quest: Dive into books, scour the internet, or consult with an adult to gather information about your chosen role model. Uncover the challenges and adversities they confronted.
-
Diverse Insights: Extract insights from a minimum of three varied sources. This ensures a comprehensive understanding of your role model's life and the obstacles they overcame.
-
Highlight Moments of Resilience: Identify and note down at least three pivotal moments where your role model showcased unwavering resilience against the odds.
-
Actions Speak Loudly: Chronicle the steps and actions your role model took during their moments of adversity. Did they innovate? Did they lean on others? Was their attitude a key component?
-
Walk in Their Shoes: Understand their story. Reflect on and jot down what you believe your role model might've thought and felt during those taxing periods. Did self-belief drive them? Was it sheer determination?
-
Craft a Mini Bio: Compose a concise biography encapsulating their journey. Detail their name, critical life milestones, and articulate why their story resonated with you. Share the wisdom you've gleaned from their story.
-
Visual Storytelling (Optional): Use your art supplies to create a visual depiction of your role model, spotlighting their resilience. This could be in the form of a poster, a comic strip, or even a drawing.
-
Engage in a Resilience Roundtable: Extra Credit! -Share your discoveries with a peer group, family, or friends. Narrate the pivotal moments, the actions your role model took, your insights into their mindset, and the reasons they inspire you. Invite them to share their resilience role models.
-
Personal Resilience Reflection: Reflect on the parallels between your role model's resilience and your own life. How can their lessons strengthen your own resilience in the face of challenges? Write a personal takeaway reflection that you'd like to remember from this project and hand it in with your HERO badge documentation.
Resilient role models pave the way, showcasing that challenges are surmountable with grit and the right mindset. Internalize their lessons, and let them be a guiding light, reinforcing that with resilience, you too can navigate life's storms.

WEEK 4
OPTIMISM IN ACTION
OBJECTIVE
To foster an optimistic outlook towards life's challenges and to develop the ability to shift to an optimistic mindset. Choose and complete at least two of the small projects below.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Through a blend of introspective activities, imaginative role-playing, research, and self-reflective challenges, we aim to cultivate a deeper understanding of personal control, optimism, and the value of constructive feedback. Embracing these tasks will not only offer tangible reminders of your inherent ability to adapt and grow but also provide you with tools and insights to navigate life's adventures with positivity and determination. Engage in this journey and unveil the boundless superhero within you!
MY HEROIC PATH
Objective: Today, we're going on a heroic adventure! We'll learn about things we can control, see why mistakes aren't so bad, and find out how being positive and trying hard makes us awesome. Parent's read the story file, "A Story about Control: Peter’s Power."
Materials Needed:
-
Two large circles crafted from paper or cardboard (pre-labeled "What I Control" and "What I don't control")
-
Markers
-
Petite Post-it notes or paper snippets
-
Adhesive tape or glue stick
-
Magnifying glass toy (for a pinch of added fun, but optional)
What You'll Be Doing:
Alright young heroes, today we're going on an adventure to learn about our own superhero powers. Every superhero has challenges, and we're going to discover how to overcome them!
Control Circles Sorting Game:
Spread out the two big circles.
-
Explain: "Some things in life we can change and some we can't. Like, we can choose our clothes, but we can't change the weather."
-
Take a few Post-it notes. Let them write or draw things they think they can control and things they can't.
-
Once they've decided, have them stick them onto the correct circle.
Mistakes are Learning Adventures: Parents ask
-
"Now, who here has made a mistake before? I know I have! Did you know mistakes can help us learn?"
-
Ask each child to think of a recent mistake or something they wished had gone differently. Have them draw or write it down.
-
Then, with the toy magnifying glass in hand, let them examine their mistake like a detective. Discuss:
-
"Was it a one-time thing or has it happened more?"
-
"Was it about one little thing or many things?"
-
"Could you have controlled it or not?"
Creating Our Hero Wall:
-
"It's time to show off our hero journey! Let's make a big display."
-
Guide the kids to arrange their control circles and mistake detective notes in a special area (a wall or large paper).
-
"Look at how much we've learned about ourselves!"
Our Hero Promise:
-
"Every hero has a promise or a motto. Let's make ours."
-
Create your very own motto - like Peter did in the "Peter's Power" story. What is your motto and how will it help you to know what you control and what you don't?
Reflection Questions:
-
What was the most surprising thing you learned about what you can control?
-
What do you think a mistake is? How do you feel when you make a mistake?
-
What if you saw every mistake as an opportunity?
-
What's your favourite superhero power from today's adventure?
"Remember, being a hero doesn't mean being perfect. It means trying our best, learning, and always getting back up. Keep shining, young heroes!"
BREWING A CUP OF OPTIMISM
Objective: In this magical activity, you'll create a powerful tool to help you stay optimistic even when things seem gloomy. You'll brew a special Cup of TEA – Thoughts, Emotions, and Actions – potion that can chase away the pessimistic witches and brighten your perspective.
Materials Needed:
-
A piece of paper.
-
Markers or coloured pencils.
-
Your brightest wizard imagination!
-
Read the Story for inspiration (attached)
Instructions:
-
Discover the Magic of TEA: TEA stands for Thoughts, Emotions, and Actions. Just like ingredients in a potion, they mix together to make us feel a certain way.
-
Draw Your Potion Bottle: On your paper, sketch a big potion bottle. Split it into three parts, labeling them: "Thoughts," "Emotions," and "Actions."
-
Remember a Rainy Day: Think of a time you felt down or disappointed. Got it? Now let's explore that with your wizardly skills!
-
Thoughts: In the "Thoughts" part of your potion, write or draw what you were thinking during that moment. Maybe you thought, "This game is too hard," or "I can't do that."
-
Emotions: Move to the "Emotions" section. How did those thoughts make you feel? Sad? Frustrated? Angry? Embarased? Draw faces or write words to show these feelings.
-
Actions: In the "Actions" space, remember what you did. Maybe you stopped playing or felt like giving up or acted in a way you regret.
-
Wave Your Magic Wand: Let's magically turn those thoughts around! Instead of, "This game is too hard," how about, "I'll get better with more practice!" Or "I can't do it, yet." Write or draw this new thought in the "Thoughts" section.
-
See the Magic Work: With this new thought, how would you feel? Happier? More hopeful? Optimistic? Update the "Emotions" section with this magical transformation.
-
Choose Your Adventure: Now, imagine what you'd do with these new, brighter feelings. Would you give the game another shot? Create a plan to practice more? Write or draw this in the "Actions" section.
-
Celebrate Your Wizardry: You've just brewed your Optimism TEA! With this potion by your side, even cloudy days can become adventures that lead to sunnier days.
-
Secret Wizard Wisdom: Always remember: It's not just what happens, but how you think about it that shapes how you feel. With your magical TEA, you have the power to choose optimism! And, sometimes your thoughts can shift when you take action, which then influence how you feel! Like when I feel down and don't feel like doing anything but I go for a walk anyway, the action can influence your feelings the same way feelings can influence action. Neat, eh?
-
Share Your Magical Adventure: We would love to hear about a time when you used your TEA potion to transform a gloomy day into an adventure that lead to a sunnier place. Here’s how you can tell your story:
-
Describe the Moment: What happened that made you feel a little down or disappointed?
-
Using the TEA Potion:
-
Thoughts: Tell us the first thoughts that bubbled up in your mind. Then, let us know how you turned those thoughts around with a sprinkle of optimism!
-
Emotions: With your transformed thoughts, how did your feelings change? From stormy clouds to rainbows, let us know how you felt.
-
Actions: And finally, how did your brightened feelings inspire a new action or response from you?
-
The Magical Outcome: With the power of your TEA potion, how did your day transform? Did you make a new friend? Did you try something challenging again with an optimistic spirit?
FEEDBACK TREASURE HUNT
Objective: Embark on the Feedback Treasure Hunt Adventure and discover that feedback is full of valuable treasures! Learn to distinguish between feedback that highlights what you're already doing wonderfully (to continue doing) and feedback that points to where you can grow (what to work on). Embrace every step in the journey of incremental growth.
Materials Needed:
A blank notebook or several sheets of paper for each participant.
Colourful markers or coloured pencils.
Optional: Stickers or small prizes for "treasure" discoveries.
-
Choose Your Quest: Every adventure starts with a destination in mind. Think of an area in your life where you’d like to gather feedback. This could be school, a hobby, a sport, or even understanding how to be a better team player or friend.
-
Draft Your Adventure Map: In your notebook, draw a map of your chosen quest. Create a path that leads to a grand “Feedback Treasure Chest” at the end. Add obstacles, challenges, and checkpoints along the way – these will represent the feedback you gather!
-
Quest Questions: As you prepare to embark, think of specific questions to ask. These questions will be your guiding stars, leading you to the feedback treasures. Examples:
-
"How can I be more helpful during group projects?"
-
"What can I practice to improve my jump shot in basketball?"
-
"What makes a good friend, and how can I be one?"
-
-
Set Sail & Gather Feedback: Now, with questions in hand, start your journey! Ask your teachers, friends, family, or coaches for feedback based on your questions. Remember, you're a brave adventurer seeking valuable treasures!
-
Deciphering the Treasure: As you gather feedback, you'll find two types of treasures:
-
Golden Coins (Positive Feedback): These represent what you're doing well and should keep doing. Add these to your path on the map!
-
Diamonds (Constructive Feedback): These precious stones symbolize areas where you can grow and improve. Just like diamonds require pressure and polishing to shine, these feedback areas might need extra effort and refinement. Place them on your map near obstacles or challenges.
-
Work makes your diamonds Shine: For every raw diamond (constructive feedback), think about how to make it shine. Just as diamonds need pressure (the work), you need effort and action to make feedback count.
-
Store Your Treasures: Every piece of feedback you receive is a treasure! Store these in your Feedback Treasure Chest. Over time, this chest will become a trove of insights and growth pointers.
-
Navigate Challenges: Using the feedback diamonds, think of how you can overcome challenges and obstacles on your story map. Every diamond is an opportunity for growth!
-
Share Your Discoveries: Once you've navigated your map story and reached the Feedback Treasure Chest, share your adventures with fellow treasure hunters (read them your story). Discuss the feedback treasures you've discovered and the steps you'll take based on them.
-
Celebrate & Prepare for the Next Quest: Revel in your discoveries! And remember, the seas of feedback are vast, offering endless adventures. Whenever you're ready for a new quest, just pick a new area and embark on another Feedback Treasure Hunt!
Ahoy there, brave explorer! Every day presents new seas to sail and treasures to find. By seeking feedback, you're choosing to grow and learn. Keep your map story and chest close, for countless adventures await! Ready to set sail on your next quest? Anchor’s up!

Learning Outcomes
By the end of the HERO Badge program, I've discovered that being a hero has super special qualities like Heart, Empathy, Resilience, and Optimism! It's not just about doing big things, but also caring for others and believing in myself. I teamed up with my pals for some cool activities, and we showed each other how to be kind and brave. Every day, I remember that I can be a little hero in my own way. I've also completed fun missions that taught me how wonderful it is to help and inspire. Being a hero turns challenges into adventures!
